Set of celluloid crowns for restoration of primary incisors and canines
Contains 84 celluloid crowns for upper primary incisors and canines, 3 pieces of each size.
-
- Celluloid crowns are an easy-to-use tool in pediatric dentistry for restoring primary incisors and canines using composite material. They are mainly used for the loss of a tooth fragment or moderate depth multi-surface damage.
-
- Celluloid crowns are made of a material called celluloid. They are available in 4 sizes for each primary tooth from tooth 53 to tooth 63, allowing them to be adapted to the individual needs of the patient. The dentist can trim the edge of the crown with small dental scissors to match the crown length to the height of the adjacent teeth.
-
- The crowns are made of a fairly rigid material, which allows them to be perfectly adapted to the cervical part of the tooth and also provides excellent stabilization for the composite material when placed on the primary tooth.
The use of celluloid crowns for primary teeth has several benefits.
-
- Celluloid crowns help restore the natural shape and appearance of a damaged primary tooth, which is particularly important for anterior teeth.
-
- They preserve tooth tissue from excessive grinding, thanks to the possibility of using adhesive material such as composite.
-
- They provide better retention of composite material on the tooth surface in the case of multi-surface cavities, as they utilize not only adhesion but also micro-shrinkage of the composite material for better retention of the filling.
-
- They are a cheaper alternative for restoring incisors and canines compared to zirconia crowns.
-
- Their ease of use allows for effective restoration of severely damaged primary teeth, even by dentists who are just starting their professional career.
