The Art of Calming Anxiety
Training objective
- The training prepares participants for the safe and effective use of inhalation sedation and local anesthesia in children.
- Participants will learn techniques for inducing a state of deep relaxation in children using nitrous oxide, learn the principles of titration, and how to operate the MasterFlux Plus device.
- An important element of the training will be working with the modern The Wand STA system, which, in combination with sedation, minimizes stress, pain, and anxiety in the Young Patient. The Wand STA and Sedation go hand in hand, creating safe and comfortable conditions for children's dental treatment.
👩⚕️ Who is the training for?
- The training is aimed at dentists interested in developing their skills in working with children, reducing dental anxiety, and the safe use of inhalation sedation and local anesthesia in pediatric patients.
- The training is dedicated to both dentists starting to work with children and practitioners who want to increase treatment effectiveness and improve the comfort of young patients during visits.
🧠 What skills will you gain after the training?
- You will gain knowledge in inhalation sedation and learn to recognize indications and contraindications for its use.
- You will acquire knowledge on selecting the appropriate local anesthesia method based on the patient's age and the planned procedure.
- You will gain knowledge on operating inhalation sedation equipment in accordance with safety principles.
- You will apply knowledge of local anesthesia techniques in practice.
- You will apply knowledge of the course of inhalation sedation in practice and react appropriately to possible adverse effects.
- You will practice computer-controlled anesthesia techniques on models.
