Training objective
- The aim of the training is to comprehensively prepare dentists for the diagnosis and treatment of primary tooth pulp, taking into account both the theoretical foundations and the practical skills necessary in everyday work with young patients.
- Participants will gain knowledge and techniques enabling effective diagnosis of pulp disease states, proper treatment planning, as well as safe and effective performance of procedures such as indirect capping, vital amputation, and endodontic treatment of primary teeth using modern materials and rotary instruments.
- The training also places great emphasis on the psychological aspects of working with the child and parent, the use of sedation and anesthesia, as well as practical training in placing a rubber dam and performing safe exodontia of primary teeth.
- The aim is to increase the diagnostic and therapeutic effectiveness of participants and to prepare them to independently and confidently perform endodontic procedures in pediatric dentistry.

- Clinical Diagnosis of Pulp Diseases: Participants will learn how to correctly recognize various pulp diseases based on clinical symptoms.
- Radiological diagnosis of pulp diseases: Learning to interpret radiological images in the context of diagnosing pulp diseases in primary teeth.
A tough nut to crack – child and parent psychology
- Allowable doctor moves: Discussion of communication strategies and psychological approaches that facilitate cooperation with young patients and their parents, increasing the effectiveness of treatment.
Magic recipe – pharmacology in the treatment of children
- Premedication, local anesthesia, sedation, general anesthesia – tips and tricks: A detailed discussion of the various techniques and pharmacological agents used in pediatric dental treatment.
Dental dam – is it possible for children?
- Pedodontic Accessories – SHINHUNG K-CLAMPS: An introduction to the use of rubber dams in pediatric dentistry, including an overview of the necessary accessories.
- Step-by-step procedure: Practical instructions for placing a dental dam in children.

Practical part - 3h
Placing a rubber dam on the model:
- Participants will have the opportunity to practically apply a rubber dam using SHINHUNG K-CLAMPS clamps.
Vital amputation on a primary tooth model:
- Practice of vital amputation technique using MTA material.
Endodontic treatment on a model:
- Practical endodontic treatment on primary incisor and molar models using Bondent rotary instruments. Cordless endodontic micromotors.
Removal of a baby tooth:
- Learning the technique of root separation during exodontia of primary teeth.
