Steel and zirconium crowns - reconstruction of primary and permanent teeth
Reconstruction of deciduous and permanent teeth
Agnieszka Igielska, D.D.S.,
Małgorzata Potrykus, D.D.S., Pediatric Dentistry Specialist
About the training
- The aim of the training is to improve the competence of dentists in qualifying patients for the restoration of primary and permanent teeth using steel and zirconia crowns.
- Participants will acquire up-to-date knowledge and practical skills in the restoration of permanent and primary teeth, performing preparation, restoration, and cementation procedures for crowns in accordance with current clinical practice standards.
Who is the training for?
- For dentists specialising in paediatric dentistry who wish to expand their skills in the use of stainless steel crowns and zirconia crowns on primary and permanent teeth.
- For dentists who want to improve their knowledge and skills in the use of top-class bioceramic materials in the biological treatment of primary and permanent tooth pulp.
- For paediatric dentists who already use stainless steel and zirconia crowns in their practice and would like to improve their knowledge and skills in this area.
🧠 What skills will you gain after the training?
- Qualifying and preparing teeth for stainless steel and zirconia crowns.
- Core build-ups prior to preparation.
- Selecting and seating stainless steel and zirconia crowns on primary and permanent teeth.
- Using bioceramic materials for tooth pulp amputation.
During the training, you will be working with:
Individual set consisting of:
• NuSmile evolutionary set of stainless steel crowns (24 crowns) for primary teeth
• Shinhung Try-In set of zirconia crowns for central and lateral incisors and primary canines (48 try-in crowns)
• Demonstration model for patient work
• Bur cassette for tooth preparation for a crown
• Biocompatible pre-mixed NeoPutty 0.5g
• NeoMTA paste 0.5g
